This is a revision week for division by 2, 4, 8, 5 and 10.
Well done for all your hard work. You will finish your division times tables in 4th class!
Dividing Times Tables (last 2 pictures) pages 40 and 41 of Table Toppers
Practise using activities just like we do in school.
Here is a list:
- Count in 2s, etc. If you need number lines use the ones at the top of the pages in Table Toppers.
- Count backwards in 2s, etc. (this is important for dividing)
- Count on your fingers
- Sing along to the times tables songs with the videos (the song stays the same for multiplying and dividing!)
- Pause the song and say what's coming next
- Click on the dot patterns and count forwards and backwards in 2s, etc.
- Make a spinner or roll 2 dice
- Test yourself on this great website: Times Tables Me This week, tick the divide by box. Make sure the 2, 4, 8, 5 and 10 boxes are ticked and untick the rest of the numbers. If you get full marks, try to beat your time!
- In your Table Toppers book, do pages 40 and 41.
