Some of you may have read the book Matilda by Roald Dahl (if you haven't - it's really good!). Did you know that the book was turned into a musical? Here's a fun song called "Naughty"
Here are the lyrics

Here's another upbeat song to keep you singing this week. It's called "On Top of the World".
"On Top Of The World"
by Imagine Dragons
If you love somebody
Better tell them while they're here
'cause they just may run away from you
You'll never know quite when, well
Then again it just depends on
How long of time is left for you
I've had the highest mountains
I've had the deepest rivers
You can have it all but life keeps moving
I take it in but don't look down
'Cause I'm on top of the world
I'm on top of the world
Waiting on this for a while now
Paying my dues to the dirt
I've been waiting to smile
Been holding it in for a while
Take you with me if I can
Been dreaming of this since a child
I'm on top of the world
I've tried to cut these corners
Try to take the easy way out
I kept on falling short of something
I coulda gave up then
but then again I couldn't have
'cause I've traveled all this way for something
I take it in but don't look down
'Cause I'm on top of the world
I'm on top of the world
Waiting on this for a while now
Paying my dues to the dirt
I've been waiting to smile
Been holding it in for a while
Take you with me if I can
Been dreaming of this since a child
I'm on top of the world
'Cause I'm on top of the world
I'm on top of the world
Waiting on this for a while now
Paying my dues to the dirt
I've been waiting to smile
Been holding it in for a while
Take you with me if I can
Been dreaming of this since a child
And I know it's hard when you're falling down
And it's a long way up when you hit the ground
Get up now, get up, get up now
And I know it's hard when you're falling down
And it's a long way up when you hit the ground
Get up now, get up, get up now
'Cause I'm on top of the world
I'm on top of the world
Waiting on this for a while now
Paying my dues to the dirt
I've been waiting to smile
Been holding it in for a while
Take you with me if I can
Been dreaming of this since a child
I'm on top of the world

Some of you might know this week's song. It's about being brave, having confidence and not letting anything stop you!
Here's a video with the lyrics
"Get Back Up Again"
(from "Trolls" soundtrack)
I really hope I can do it
'Cause they're all depending on me
I know that I must leave the only home I've ever known
And brave the dangers of the forest
Saving them before they're eaten
I mean, how hard can that be?
Looking up at a sunny sky,
So shiny and blue and there's a butterfly
Well, isn't that a super fantastic sign?
It's gonna be a fantastic day
Such marvellousness it's gonna bring
Got a pocket full of songs that I'm gonna sing
And I'm ready to take on anything
Hooray!
Some super fun surprise around each corner
Just riding on a rainbow, I'm gonna be okay
Hey!
I'm not giving up today
There's nothing getting in my way
And if you knock-knock me over
I will get back up again
Oh
If something goes a little wrong
Well, you can go ahead and bring it on
'Cause if you knock-knock me over,
I will get back up again
Oh, oh, oh, get back up again
I'm marching along, I got confidence
I'm cooler than a pack of peppermints
And I haven't been this excited since
I can't remember when!
I'm off on this remarkable adventure
Just riding on a rainbow
What if it's all a big mistake?
What if it's more than I can take?
No, I can't think that way
'Cause I know that I'm really-really-really gonna be okay
Hey!
I'm not giving up today
There's nothing getting in my way
And if you knock-knock me over
I will get back up again
Oh
If something goes a little wrong
Well, you can go ahead and bring it on
'Cause if you knock-knock me over,
I will get back up again
Get up, get up, get up
Get back up again
Get up, get up, get up
I'm okay!
Get up, get up, get up
If you knock-knock me over, knock-knock me over
I will get back up again

Keeping with the farm theme this week, here is a song about a turkey that children learn in the USA. Just like Fern in Charlotte's Web has a pet pig, the singer of this song has a pet turkey!

Since our history topic this week takes us to New Zealand, I have put up some new songs to learn from... you guessed it... New Zealand!
The first 2 are songs that children in New Zealand learn in school. They're both about animals. The second song gets quite fast - it reminds me a bit of Paula the Koala!
The third song will help you to count in the Maori language.

Your Australian Assembly was super! Here are the songs for you to sing along to. There is one new song about a Kookaburra bird sitting in a gum tree.
