Hi everyone, hope you are all well and enjoying the great weather we are having!

This weeks word families that I would like you to focus on this week are om, im and em.

Just to remind you of some useful tips to teach the word families

• Have children write (or dictate) a sentence or a story with some of the -ob words and then illustrate it.
• Ask students to pick two to four words from the list, copy them on paper, and then draw
  • Make a flower stem with a round shape on top and print -om inside the circle
  • Cut out petal shapes to be added to the flower. Students take a blank "petal," write an –om word, and, if possible, illustrate it. Each –om word gets added around the centre to make a Word Family Flower.
  • Also, just to remind you that Twinkl is still free at the moment. There are loads of great resources and information for parents if required.
