5. At the top of the page you will see: Quick book search.
6. In the search box, type in the name of the book you have been given for the week and press go. For example this week you will type in Fear Forest. Scroll down and Fear Forest will be on the book shelf
Now you are all set up to read the books I set for you each week.

Before Reading: Click on the support notes icon on the first page and following guidelines.
Parents ask the following questions.
- What is the title of the book?
- Who is the author?
- Who is the illustrator?
- What does an author and illustrator do?
- Do you have any predictions? What is this book going to be about?
- Look at the inside cover. Complete the activities, answer the questions listed under: Before Reading
During reading. Now start reading! You can use the audio play button to help you with words you don't know. You can also use an online dictionary here https://kids.britannica.com/kids/browse/dictionary to look up any words you don't know.
Remember while you are reading to:
- Stop at the end of each chapter and predict.
- If you make a connection with self, the world or another book; Write it down!!
- Self question and clarify: use your online dictionary
After Reading
Go to the back cover and parents ask the questions and do the book quiz together!
Independent After Reading exercises: Get out your copy book thirds class readers, parents you can take a break!
Click on the support notes icon on the inside back cover. Answer the questions in your copybook.
